Draft for attorney review. This policy is a planning document for a site that is not live. No repair shops have been contacted and no production referral service is active.
Who we are
LawnMowerRepair.online is an independent advertising and referral service. We are not a repair company, do not diagnose or repair equipment, and do not guarantee a provider, price, schedule, warranty, or result.
Information we may collect
If a future customer submits a referral request, the form may collect name, telephone number, email address, ZIP code, equipment type, brand/model, transportation need, problem description, source page, consent record, and technical information needed to protect the service. Administrators may maintain provider and prospect records separately for recruitment and verification.
How information may be used
Information may be used to provide the requested referral, place an uncovered request in an administrator queue, prevent abuse, secure sessions, troubleshoot the service, maintain records, and satisfy legal or accounting obligations. We do not use customer information to make a repair diagnosis.
Sharing
With the customer’s clear referral consent, relevant request information may be shared with one or more independent repair providers for the disclosed purpose. Providers are separate businesses responsible for their own services and privacy practices. We do not sell personal information or authorize unrelated marketing from a referral request without the required permission.
Cookies, sessions, and analytics
The application may use an essential session cookie for security, CSRF protection, authentication, and form continuity. Security settings are intended to use Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite protections in staging/production. We do not intentionally use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party form delivery in the pre-launch staging environment.
Retention and deletion
Retention periods require owner and attorney approval before launch. The intended policy is to retain only what is needed for the disclosed referral, security, dispute, accounting, and legal purposes, then securely delete or anonymize it under an approved schedule. Staging is seeded with zero providers, territories, leads, calls, reviews, coupons, publication, indexing, coverage, routing, and lead collection. Privacy requests may be sent through the site contact channel; identity and applicable legal exceptions must be handled before deletion.
Security and changes
We use access controls, CSRF protection, authentication controls, protected environment configuration, backups, and audit records appropriate to the pre-launch system. No internet system is risk-free. Material changes require review and an updated policy before production use.
